Kumu Lei teaches Hawaiian Studies in schools on Kauaʻi and works with cultural practitioners to perpetuate culture , history, hula, and the arts. With years of dancing professionally, her passion for na mea hawaii (Hawaiian things) is endless and her aloha to share this is infectious.
In her words:
“Hula has been a part of my life from a young age with my ohana (famiy) and is a natural extension of how I express what I believe in my heart, feel in my emotions, and experience in my life.”
Leihiʻilani invites you into her ʻohana (family) and shares in family traditions. Hula is Hawaiiʻs gift to the world and she shares this gift with all who want to enjoy.
